• Rufus is a high performing boar backed by a pedigree that spells superior performance from top to bottom. 
• Rufus and his two littermate brothers were three of the Top four indexing boars in their contemporary group.  They averaged 148 days to 250 (-2.5 EPD)  0.44 BF (-0.03), 7.59 LEA and 127.0 TSI. 
• Their sire, Rowdy, is the 18^th ranking sire for TSI in the Winter 2001 Across Herd Sire Summary with EPDs of –2.97 Days –0.03 BF and 130.1 TSI.  Rowdy has also been the premier sire at several of the top Duroc Shows in the USA as well as siring several Champion Barrows and Derby Show Winners in his first crop. 
• Rufus’s maternal grandsire, Ripper, is also a top ranking sire with EPDs of –2.46 Days, -0.03 BF and 125.0 TSI.  Ripper has also sired a number of Champions and Derby Show Winners throughout the USA.  The maternal great grandsire, St Bernard, has been ranked 1^st for both TSI and Backfat. 
• Rufus is a big fast growing and stout made boar.  A wide-chested boar; he possesses a massive blade, has excellent spring of rib and is heavy boned. 
• Rufus has excellent muscle definition with a big, square, very expressive top; a huge rump with a big dimple above the tail and very thick expressively muscled ham.  He is a level designed boar that is particularly long and level out through his rump.  He comes at you extra wide up front, and tracks away from you wide and square behind.
