Aris 3143B 4-2 was housed and owned by Birchwood Genetics and contributed genetically to productivity and lean growth. SBI5 Kate 54-4, who had a lifetime average after seven parities of 11.7 born alive, 11 weaned and 160 lbs litter weight, was sired by 4 Acadia Leduc 97040. Leduc was housed at International Boar Semen a number of years ago and was bred by Acadia Farm. Both Aris 2143B and Acadia Leduc excelled in extreme body length leanness, growth and durability for improved sow production.
