The blend of Hampshire genetics has proven to be very predictable for Earnharts.

The dam of Seismo is a performance-generating, long living female deluxe. She has produced nine litters to date and has a lifetime average of 9.6 BA and a 137 lb 21-day litter weight. She is still working in the Drake sow herd. LBF5 Aaron 13-5, the sire of Seismo’s dam, was the fastest growing of the thirty nine Hampshire boars offered in Bidner’s April 1986 sale with performance figures of 128 Days/230 lb and a 7.50 LEA. Aaron’s dam at the time of purchase had weaned 68 pigs in six litters and had never raised a litter less than ten. His sire, Karate, left a legacy of superior muscling and leanness in the breed. Seismo’s maternal grandma is also a full sister to the mother of DPF Dual Purpose (FAX x JR6 DPF Buckshot).
