HANS is a unique boar in that he exhibits more head power, substance of bone and foot size than normally found in Large Whites yet still has the levelness of top, looseness of structure and superior soundness that have made Large Whites adapt readily to confinement and excel in mothering ability.
He is a naturally wide made boar with good muscle volume being particularly wide based front and rear, with a wide chest floor and thick rump that has superior width through the stifle and at the pins.
HANS has an excellent underline, very good testicle size, and tremendous sex drive. He is backed by superior sow productivity. He is form a litter of 12 farrowed, 11 weaned and his dam has a lifetime breeding value of 102.58.
His dam and her five littermates averaged 12.2 farrowed, 11.0 weaned in their first litters.
