• Trolley Kar is backed by generations of selection for extreme leanness and muscle.  The average scan on over 200 head by his sire Jolly 16-4, is 0.56 in backfat and 7.10 sq in loin eye.  The Jolly line extends back to Sweden where intense selection for leanness has been carried on through progeny testing for many generations. 
• Trolley Kar’s dam is from the Newlin herd that has been known for extreme leanness and muscle for a couple of decades. 
• His sire, Attraction, is by Karate and out of the longstanding and very productive George family at Newlin’s.  Karate descendants have won many carcass contests and have truly excelled in leanness and loin eye muscle. 
• Trolley Kar is from an outstanding litter with 2 littermate boars scanning 7.92 and 8.40 loin eyes with the Real Time scan device.  Shipley is keeping three outstanding littermate gilts.  Previous matings of Jolly 16-4 and Trolley Kar’s dam have produced outstanding sires now serving in the Jones & Moorman, Shawn Brown, Harvey Smith and Mark Barrans (M & B) herds.  The M & B boar sired a top indexing Hampshire boar just off test at the Iowa Swine Test Station with a 2.94 lb daily gain, 0.78 in backfat (compared to average for the contemporary test group of 0.90), a 6.10 sq in loin eye, 250 Iowa Index and a remarkable winter feed efficiency of 217. 
• Trolley Kar is a problem free, very sound and functional boar.  He has tremendous muscle shape down his top and out through his rump with a full set of “britches” that you would expect from a Jolly – Karate combination. 
• Above average in frame size, he is a well-balanced, correctly designed boar with an excellent underline. 
• Trolley Kar’s dam has averaged 9.4 farrowed live, 9.6 weaned after transfer and 139 lb weaning weight for 5 parities. 
•  Although the trolley car will probably not be rejuvenated in the transportation industry; traditional, lean-muscular Hampshires like Trolley Kar are certainly and justifiably being rejuvenated in the swine industry.
