His sire, Icon 47-1, sired the champion and $15,000 top selling boar as well as the $6000 second top selling boar at Austin. They had only 0.52 and 0.58 BF at 265 lb. Icon 47-2 also sired Waldo’s Grand Champion. Truckload at the 1994 National Barrow Show and several local barrow shows champions on foot and the rail. The cutout on those champions ranged from 0.40 to 0.70 for carcass BF, 6.60 to 8.65 for LEA and 59.01 to 62.60 for % lean.

Icon 3-8 is one that can do it all. He can make bigger, leaner, heavier muscled, yet correctly structured and productive Hampshires; sound productive f1 females that will generate extra muscle; leaner commercial pigs that will perform well and cut a high percent lean at heavier weight or big framed, long bodied, well-balanced show pigs with the top muscle and shape it takes to win.
