- Game Eagle was the Champion and top selling Hampshire boar at the 2002 Iowa State Fair.
- He is sired by Game Day, who is rapidly rising to the top as a sire of superior Hampshires. He sired the two popular Steffensmeier boars at Indiana (SGI’s No Boundaries and Hi Point’s R&D), the $42,000 National Barrow Show Reserve Champion (Cain’s Rock the House) as well as the Champion Gilt at Minnesota, Champion and Reserve Gilts at Wisconsin and two class winners and two 2nd’s at Iowa.
- The sire of Game Eagle’s dam, SGI Golden Eagle, needs no introduction into the Hampshire or Show Pig Fraternities. Game Eagle features extreme muscle shape in a correct, very stylish package. His 10.19 inch loin eye scan was the largest at the Iowa State Fair.
- He carries this extreme shape down his top into a huge, highly dimpled rump and a big, very expressive ham. Jim McCoy, the judge at Iowa, commented that Game Eagle had the most correct rump and rear leg structure of any Hampshire in the show. A littermate stood 2nd to Game Eagle at Iowa and was the 2nd top selling boar. Both boars were just plain bigger and more massive than the norm, yet had the extreme muscle and classic look needed to win
