• Occasionally you find a boar that just simply hits you full bore like a cannon ball and say, “I Am The One”.  This certainly was the case with Wabash, the $18,000 second top selling boar at the 1999 Fall Classic. 
• As long as a freight train, especially clean fronted; erect eared with the trendy look; he offers unequaled eye appeal. 
• He has incredible muscle shape that you rarely find on a boar with his scale and extension.  Extra long and trim fronted, he just awes you with the massive muscle down his extra long top and out through a long level rump. 
• You certainly will not be disappointed as you view him from the rear and focus on his awesome yet deep and well-proportioned hams. 
• Wabash is bred to be great.  His sire was the $20,000 2^nd top selling boar at the 1998 NBS that had 0.49 BF and 9.81 LEA.  In many ways Wabash resembles his ultra trim, heavy muscled and very stylish sire, Slash 55-2.  Slash was sired by Speechless (littermate to Nuff Said and Fix It) and out of a Power Stroke dam.  These two mighty sires had 10.25 and 8.99 LEA.  Speechless also sired the $30,000 Champion boar at the 1998 Fall Classic. 
• Wabash’s dam is a littermate to Top Cut’s Summit that scanned 0.51 BF with a 9.46 LEA.  Summit combines Stone (a full brother to Granite by Hard Rock) and Stinger (by JOSS Daniel).  Again, these boars have very impressive siring records. 
• Wabash is from a litter of 11 farrowed and 11 weaned.  His dam has averaged over nine pigs weaned in four parities.  A littermate to Wabash was the Champion Hampshire Gilt at the 1999 Louisiana State Fair. 
• The song Wabash Cannon Ball is one of the great ones of all times.  SGI Golden Eagle and Top Shot have certainly risen to the top as show pig sires.  We truly believe Wabash with his star studded and muscle packed pedigree backed by his awesome phenotype can also join the ranks of the elite.
