• He is from a litter of 11 farrowed, 10 weaned and a 21 day litter weight of 145 pounds. 
• His dam and her 4 littermates have consistently ranked at the top of the Shellhammer Ridgeway herd in sow productivity rating and in superiority of their offspring’s performance and type. 
• His granddam, Hilda, has a lifetime average of 14.7 farrowed, 10.7 weaned for six litters.  His sire combines the PBR and Slugger lines both noted for their excellent sow productivity. 
• Blue is a correctly-designed boar being long and level topped, wide-based and standing on clean, fat, heavy bone. 
• He is also a very lean boar that has excellent muscled dimension yet is a sound, loose-structured and easy moving individual.
