• Jampo is a wide-made, muscular and very well balanced boar from an excellent litter and out of one of the very best Yorkshire sows we saw in Finland.  A big, wide-made, super sound sow with excellent udder texture and quality; she has averaged 14.2 farrowed, 12.2 weaned, 162 lb 21-day litter weight and a 159 day farrowing interval for 5 parities. 
• On the top side of Jampo’s pedigree, his sire is the 10^th ranking sire in Finland based on the performance and cutout of his 10 progeny groups.  However, what is most impressive is his 116 SPI based on 47 daughters and the 126 SPI on 670 daughters of Jampo’s paternal grandsire, Jara, which is one of the best ever in Finland. 
• Jampo’s maternal grandsire, Koro, also has an excellent SPI of 121 based on 241 daughters. 
• Jampo is a wide chested, bold shouldered boar that carries his excellent natural width form front to rear and top to bottom of his long body cavity. 
• He is a muscular-appearing boar with a big, thickly muscled loin, a well defined dimple above his tail and a thick, meaty ham.  Jampo is a very well balanced boar that has his legs out on the corners and moves freely and easily. 
• Although he had to be scanned at a lightweight to be put in quarantine there is no question about him being a very lean boar; yet he has excellent structure with a sturdy well-designed skeleton. 
• Jampo is a problem free, muscular durable Yorkshire boar whose outstanding genealogy for superior sow productivity guarantees he will sire supreme maternal line females.
