Monster Bash was SGI's pick of the crossbred boars at the 2011 World Pork Expo
He was Newcastle Genetics entry that was 3rd in Class 3. Newcastle Genetics has made crossbred boars that have sired pigs that have done more winning than anybody in the last couple of years. Monster Bash was the one boar in the show that excelled in look, muscle, soundness and power to make market hogs right for the times
Monster Bash's sire, Super Monster, needs no introduction to the show pig world as he has sired numerous champions across the country at every level. His genetic make up is an outcross to many of the lines currently at SGI
His mother is a Hood Rat, which is a Fuel Rat on a Super 7 sow. Monster Bash mother's littermate barrow was 2nd in class at 2010 Houston Livestock Show. He has 4 shots of Super 7 in his pedigree, which should help in making consistent market hogs
We feel market hogs to win have to be sound and have the ability to go for a long time in the show ring. Monster Bash will make market hogs that will be structurally correct with the right angles and joints to travel all day long. He has the right amount of muscle and power at the ground to make market hogs compete at any level of competition
If you need a barrow sire to make sound market hogs with power, extra look and a predictable pedigree look no further: he is here at SGI in Monster Bash
