Firestone 128-2 is linebred to two of the greatest lines ever at Waldo Farms, the Firestone and Bold Stroke lines
The original Bold Stroke stood at SGI and was sire of many great breeding boars including Ox, Deep Red, O.J., CR Bold Stroke, and Bold Adventure
In the April 2009 STAGES Young Sire Ranking for TSI four of the top 14 sires were Firestone boars
Firestone 128-2 was a favorite of the herdsman at Waldos and truly represents what Waldos have demanded in their Durocs; superior soundness, leanness, muscle, and performance (growth)
He moves out free and easy with excellent flexion and total functional mobility
A very well balance, level designed boar that particularly excells in levelness of rump with a high tail setting
Firestone 128-2 is a big framed, long bodied boar that still excells in boldness of shoulder and very good rib shape
A extremely heavy structured boar; Firestone 128-2 has a big blade, stout bone and big feet with even toes
A lean, very expressive top is accented by a very muscular thick ham; he certainly can sire animals that will excell in percent lean
If you are looking to keep them lean and muscular yet heavy structured, sound and functional with exceptional growth, Firestone 128-2 can do the job.
