•  Tinsley has the highest TSI of any young Duroc to come off test to date. 
• His pedigree is unsurpassed in terms of documented superior performance.  His sire Kobe is the current Duroc trait leader for TSI as 151.3 with the second place boar at 137.7.  Kobe also is the trait leader for days at –8.04 with the 2^nd place boar at –4.79.  Kobe’s sire, Commitment 41-1, ranks 8^th in days and is also the sire of the current second ranking boar for EPD’s backfat and a half brother to the sire of the second ranking boar for days.  An added feature of the Kobe-Commitment line is the well-documented excellent meat quality they possess. 
• The sire of Tinsley’s dam, Astro 71-3, is by Great Dane 164-1, who is a former trait leader for lb lean and is currently ranked 4^th for both backfat and lb lean.  Great Dane 164-1 is also the sire of the current trait leader for lb lean s well s the 6^th ranking boar.  Great Dane 164-1 is in turn sired by Great Dane 202-7, a former trait leader for TSI and backfat.  Great Danes 164-1’s dam is by Napalm, another former high ranking Duroc on both EPD days and TSI. 
• Tinsley’s maternal grandma is also out of a Great Dane 202-7 sow and is sired by Clydesdale, another former trait leader for both TSI and EPD days.  It is no wonder Tinsley and his littermates excelled in performance. 
• Tinsley ranked 1^st in his contemporary group of 66 head while littermates were 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th ranking on TSI at 140.5 to 148.9  Two littermate gilts to Tinsley ranked 1^st and 2^nd on TSI at 148.2 and 142.3. 
• Tinsley is more than a boar just to be admired on paper.  As you will note from his picture he is a truly outstanding boar from a phenotypic standpoint.  Tremendously wide sprung with his blades really pulled apart, a huge rib cage, a big muscular loin and a remarkably robust rump an ham; he just blows you away with his total body and muscle mass.  He is also well balanced and level made with good length of side. 
• Big footed and heavy boned; Tinsley is very agile and athletic.  Jamaal Tinsley was an all American point guard at Iowa State and the Current NBA rookie sensation.
