- Stieger was one of the most intriguing boars at the 1997 National Barrow Show. He is an extreme one in terms of length and extension.
- A long necked, extremely tall-fronted boar, Stieger has tremendous length of body, length of rump and overall altitude. He is also a very trim appearing boar that has very good muscle expression.
- A well-balanced, well-designed boar; Stieger is a very agile, heads up and aggressive boar.
- With an EPD of –3.30 days there is no doubt his offspring will continue to grow fast and stay lean to a heavy weight. He also has an intriguing pedigree that combines the very predictable genetics for leanness and muscle of the three very influential Danish imports: Fjord, Nathan and Steen. The sire of his dam, Nathan 19-2, has surely been one of the most influential sires in the breed during the past couple of years. He sired the $35,000 top selling boar at the recent Autumn Classic. More important is the many outstanding breeding boars and productive females sired by Nathan 19-2 in the Huinker herd.
- With the blood of four of the most influential boars in the breed, Nathan, Nathan 192, Fjord and Steen, plus the old standby, SGI Hamalot, running through his veins; we are confident of the generating ability of this most interesting boar. He can certainly add overall extension and frame; yet keep them muscular, sound functional and growthy.
