•  B2 was the $10,5000 Reserve Grand Champion Boar at the 1988 National Barrow Show and his sire the Reserve Champion Boar at the 1987 National Barrow Show. 
• B2 truly excels in skeletal mass and natural body width.  He is a stout-headed, massive-shouldered boar with tremendous spring and depth of rib.  He carries this extreme width out through his hip and rump.  An extremely heavy-boned, very sound and flexible boar. 
• B2 is still very active and aggressive at 3 years of age.  After being used only for natural service all his live it took only 10 minutes to train him to a dummy. 
• B2's offspring are consistently easy-growing, trouble-free pigs that are vigorous survivors at birth and adjust to weaning easily.  His offspring have averaged 157 days to 230, 0.73 backfat and 5.80 LEA. 
• B2 is from a litter of 10 farrowed, 9 weaned with an outstanding 21-day litter weight of 161 lb.  His daughters have excellent underline and udder quality.  They have also excelled in reproduction averaging 9.4 farrowed and 8.9 weaned on their first parities. 
• As we move into the 90’s there has been a tremendous emphasis on leanness and muscle often at the expense of the attributes that have made Durocs a favorite with commercial producers world wide; growth, ruggedness, body width and general ability to thrive under a multitude of conditions and environments. 
• B2 offers these time-honored Duroc attributes along with superior maternal characteristics in a package that is till acceptable from a carcass standpoint.
