• Real Time has done a phenomenal job of siring lean, muscular offspring.  His first 35 offspring scanned at Rouse & Hodson/s averaged 0.16 in less backfat and 0.64 sq in more loin eye area than their contemporaries.  His first two pens tested in a central test station had the lowest backfat average of all pens in their test groups. 
• Real Time sired the Reserve Duroc Barrow and Grand Champion Carcass at the 1992 Houston Barrow Show where 4495 head were exhibited.  The Champion carcass weighed 181.4 lb and was 31.3 long with 0.63 backfat and 6.26 LEA.  At the 1992 Minnesota Spring Barrow Show,
• Real Time sired the Champion, plus the 3rd, 4th and 5th Performance Derby Barrows on Foot and the Champion 4th, 6th and 8th Derby Barrows on the Rail.  Four of the six pigs in the Champion Truckload plus the Reserve Champion Open Barrow were also by Real Time.  The Champion Derby pig went on test at 35 lbs and gained 2.32 lb per day.  He had on 1.00 inch of carcass backfat at 290 lb live weight and produced 0.886 lb of lean gain per day. 
• ALOKA was the $2,200 top selling boar at the May 1st Ida Grove Test Station Sale.  He is a linebred Mandate with his dam a Home Run X Mandate and of course; Real Time, his sire, is a direct son of Mandate. 
• ALOKA is from an outstanding litter that includes two other outstanding boars and two superior females kept at Rouse & Hodson's.  A full brother and sister were sold to Japan for $4000 and $1750 respectively.  Another full brother is doing a tremendous job at Phenotypic Acres.  Although there have been a number of outstanding sons of Real Time including the Champion and Reserve Champion Boars at the Southwest Congress, ALOKA may just be the best one to date.  He combines heaviness of structure, excellent balance and super soundness with extreme leanness and tremendous muscle shape. 
• ALOKA is a stylish, level designed boar with an excellent rump and very high tail setting.  He is a heavy boned boar with a big bold shoulder having particularly good width at the top of the blades and excellent spring of rib. 
• When you view ALOKA down the top you are really impressed with his true muscle shape and cleanness over the shoulders, along the loin and out through his big, square rump.  Add to this a tremendously thick, deep, full ham with extra thickness and bulge through the stifle and center ham areas, you certainly have the makeup of a true meat hog. 
• ALOKA is a wide walking and free moving boar that handles his extreme muscling with ease.  He has an excellent underline with very prominent, evenly spaced nipples.
