• When the original Adolph was purchased in Sweden, all of those on the buying trip were confident he would generate outstanding females because of his extra length, level design, looseness of structure and excellent underline. 
• Unfortunately Adolph’s use was limited due to the development of a semen quality problem of unknown cause.  But, offspring in several commercial herds certainly bore out the fact that he excelled in siring F-1 and rotational maternal line females. 
• Thus, we started searching for an outstanding son. 
• Our search ended when we discovered ADOLPH 33-1 on a trip to Advanced Genetics.  He had the same extra length of body, level design and looseness of structure as his sire.  Raised on total slate and kept in a gestation stall, he was super sound with big feet and even toes. 
• Also, like his sire, ADOLPH 33-1 has an excellent underline, particularly excelling in nipple quality and spacing. 
• ADOLPH 33-1’s dam has an SPI of 104.23.  After farrowing a small first litter of five, she averaged 11.8 farrowed, 10.4 weaned and 155.3 lb 21-day litter weight for her next 5 parities with a 145.6 day farrowing interval. 
• ADOLPH 33-1’s paternal granddam averaged 12.3 born live, 10.8 weaned in her first 4 parities and his paternal great granddam 12.6 born live, 10.8 weaned in her first 4 parities.
