• Rocket is a very basic, extremely sound and functional boar that is backed by tremendous sow productivity. 
• His sire, Rolf, is backed by several generations of females that truly excel in sow productivity and longevity.   
• Rolf’s first daughters are just now starting to farrow and the reports are excellent as would be expected.  In addition, Rolf has an –0.13 EPD for BF in the latest Yorkshire Across-Herd Sire Summary. 
• On the bottom side, Rocket’s dam is of Ulf-Bruiser ancestry.  This combination has been outstanding at Good’s in terms of combining durability and prolificy.  Of course, Ulf’s record for maternal superiority needs no introduction.  SGI 266 Bruiser was an extremely heavy structured, wide made, tough and durable boar.  His sons and grandsons have consistently ranked near the top in EPDs for days and litter weight. 
• Rocket’s dam has A MLI of 129.0, SPI of 116.8 and a TSI of 130.9  She has had 21-day litter weights as high as 190 lb.  His maternal granddam has a 118.92 SPI. 
• Rocket is an extremely well-designed boar, being very level made and correct on his feet and legs.  He has extra width of body and toughness typical of the Bruiser line combined with excellent leanness typical of the Swedish imports. 
• A long bodied boar, he has an excellent underline of eight extremely high quality, evenly spaced nipples on each side. 
• If you want to get back to the basics of producing sound, functional, highly productive females that will stay in the herd for more than two or three litters, Rocket would be an excellent choice.
