• BIG TIME was the Champion Boar at the 1990 Yorkshire Winter Type Conference. 
• He scanned only 0.90 backfat at 368 lb with 7.50 sq in loin eye and 1.91 weight per day of age when exhibited at Louisville.  He is sired by Prime Time, an Iowa Test Station Graduate with 2.44 daily gain and 137 days to 230 lb. 
• BIG TIME‛s paternal grandsire is SGI 274 Old Joe who has sired a tremendous set of females for Jim Grimm, Steve Cobb, Hollis Shaver and Chuck Olsen. 
• BIG TIME‛s dam is by Boxcar.  He is from litter of 14 farrowed, 11 raised, with 138 lb 21 day weight.  His dam has weaned 53 pigs in five litters and has a BV SPI of 101.8.  Prime Time has really grown out well and become even more powerful since Louisville. 
• He is a very heavy structured exceedingly wide-made boar with a big shoulder and excellent spring of rib. 
• Even with his tremendous width and bone he still excels in length of neck, body and rump. 
• He is a level made, loose spined boar with excellent muscle shape over the top, a big thick square rump and a thick muscular ham. 
• He is a super sound, long striding boar with notably good foot size. 
• Although he was scheduled to be shipped to Japan, we have received permission to keep him at SGI to offer U.S. breeders a chance to sample the tremendous potential of this young sire.
