• In the last twenty years, Roland Malan of Yorkshire Manor Farms has worked as hard as anyone in the U.S. to keep Yorkshires "The Mother Breed".  Yorkshire Manor was the top recorder in the Yorkshire Sow Productivity Program for 1987 and 1988.  In a recent Yorkshire Crossherd Summary of 3650 boars from 411 herds evaluated for maternal traits, Yorkshire Manor bred 2 out of the top 9 boars for 21-day litter weight.  Commercial customers using F1 ,  gilts produced by crossing Yorkshire Manor gilts with Landrace boars are weaning up to 23.6 pigs per sow per year.

• MILKMAN is backed by 3 tremendously productive females.  He is from a litter of 13 farrowed live, 10 after transfer and 10 weaned with 160 lb 21-day litter weight. 
• MILKMAN‛s maternal granddam peaked with a BVSPI of 109.84 after six litters with an average of 10 weaned and a 161 lb 21-day litter weight. 
• His paternal granddam ranked second in the herd after five litters with a BVSPI of 111.2 and a 10 weaning average.  These three sows have now farrowed a total of 22 litters with no repeat matings and farrowing intervals of 143, 150, and 141 days. 
• MILKMAN is a big framed, long bodied boar that has good natural body width and ruggedness.  He is long necked, loose structured, level designed and sound on his feet and legs with an excellent underline.
