Stonewall sons have been in great demand by commercial producers at Kerns because of their abundance of muscle and bone in a sound package. His daughters have also excelled in the farrowing house.

Stonewall was only used for AI service at Kerns Farms and had an average conception rate of 89.24% with 9.75 born live. Bonsai (Stonewall’s littermate) has sired a number of outstanding barrow show winners both on foot and on the rail. They have included the Minnesota State Fair Champion 4-H Barrow, Champion Production Barrow at the Iowa State Fair, Champion Barrow at Ak-Sar-Ben. Champion Market Barrow and Market Gilt at the All Iowa Fair and the Champion Carcass at the American Royal that had the following cutout: 191 lb carcass, 0.60 BF, and 6.50 LEA.

AT the Wisconsin State Fair, Conquest 23-2 (another Stonewall littermate) sired 2 of the 3 top carcasses and 2 of the top 4 Premiere Open Show Barrows including the fastest gaining pig, the only 2 sq in loin eye and the only pig over 1.0 lb lean gain per day.
