• Many SGI customers utilize Chesters because of their excellent maternal characteristics; particularly, their consistency of cycling quickly after weaning, high conception rates and excellent milking ability.  We are confident Sparky can contribute these attributes to a maternal line. 
• His sire, Dynamite, is sired by SGI 509 Selection and a half brother to SGI 519 JD.  Selection and JD have definitely been two of the best and most consistent SGI sires of any breed in terms of siring highly productive females. 
• Sparky is from a litter of 11 weaned and his dam has weaned 40 pigs in her first four litters.  Her dam, as well as her paternal granddam, is the outstanding Chester sow, Miss TKO 27-5.  She has produced 10 litters to date, weaned 99 pigs, rebred regularly and is still going strong.  Miss TKO 27-5’s litter, as well as the litters of her many daughters retained at J.D. Ray’s, have excelled in early growth, uniformity at weaning and underline quality. 
• Sparky’s sire, Dynamite, also sired the $1,500 Champion Boar at the 1990 Summer Conference.  Dynamite’s offspring have consistently been long, lean and heavy boned with very good underlines. 
• Sparky is a long bodied, loose structured, correct and well-balanced boar. 
• He is a lean muscular boar that is super sound with good, clean flat bone. 
• If your goal is to produce highly productive F1, white line or purebred Chester females, we highly recommend Sparky.
