• Beach Boy and his ¾ brother that sold for $10,000 created quite a stir in the Berkshire barn at the 1988 National Barrow Show because of their extra natural width of body, thickness of muscling, heaviness of structure, and huge feet. 
• Beach Boy is a stout headed, heavy boned, big footed boar with excellent length to his neck and ideal set to his shoulder, front leg, and pastern. 
• He is a thick bodied, thick muscled boar with excellent spring of rib and very good muscle shape to his top and down through his ham. 
• He is also a loose structured, level topped boar that is flexible in his spine and long and level yet very thick in his rump structure. 
• Beach Boy represents somewhat of an outcross to many Berkshire lines.  He is a linebred Ribeye (SGI 605) with both his sire and dam sired by a son of Ribeye was the 1985 National Barrow Champion Boar.  Littermate gilts to Beach Boy were Reserve Champion and to selling gilt ($1,5000) at the National Barrow Show and Champion at the California State Fair Junior Show.  Beach Boy’s sire, Masterplan, was the Supreme Champion over all breeds at the California State Fair Junior Show in 1987 and his dam was Supreme Champion in 1986.  Masterplan’s littermate was the dam of Mello’s $10,000 March boar at the 1988 National Barrow Show. 
• Beach Boy is a very aggressive boar with excellent testicle size.  He produces a large volume of high quality sperm. 
• If you need to add structure, natural width f body, thickness of muscling, and foot size to your Berkshires, Beach Boy would be ideal.
