ANGUS was the 1980 Spotted Sire of the Year. He has a phenomenal record at national shows with two Premier Sire Awards and six national champions.
At the 1980 Summer Type Conference he sired the $18,000 Champion Boar, $8000 Reserve Champion Boar and the $2,900 Champion Gilt.
At the 1981 Winter Type Conference he sired the top four placing boars in one class, another class winner and the Champion and Reserve Champion Boars.
He was also Premier Sire at the 1980 Ohio State Fair and has sired seven state fair champions.
ANGUS' offspring have also bred-on producing several top placing individuals and several top performing test station pens that have particularly excelled in leanness. His daughters have excellent temperament with super milking ability.
ANGUS is a long-bodied, big-framed Spotted boar with good bone and ruggedness.
