• Selection was the popular Champion and high selling boar at the 1985 Summer Chester Conference. 
•  He is backed by a pedigree of stout made, rugged Chesters and he has continued to grow in all dimensions and become more massive since the Conference. 
•  We feel he is definitely the heaviest-structured, most correctly designed and naturally leanest Chester White Boar to stand at SGI. 
• He has a massive head, wide chest floor and thick shoulder.  A long yet thick-bodied boar, Selection is very level in his top and rump structure and very sound both front and rear with large even toes. 
• He is an extremely lean boar with good muscle shape scanning only 0.84 in actual backfat at 305 lbs. 
• Selection has an excellent underline, large testicles and a very good attitude.  His dam has averaged 10 pigs farrowed and 9.33 weaned in her first three litters. 
• We truly believe Selection’s tremendously heavy skeleton and extreme leanness combined with natural thickness makes him an ideal sire for show barrows and terminal market animals while his super design for confinement combined with an excellent underline should make his genetics a valuable asset in building a prolific, functional sow herd.
