• RAMROD was the top indexing boar over all breeds at the NW Missouri Test Station and the Reserve Champion Tested Boar at the 1989 Poland Spotlight.  His littermate was the Champion Tested Boar and Grand Champion Overall and another littermate was the 3rd place tested boar at the Spotlight. 
• RAMROD is the result of mating a son back to his dam.  His dam is Master’s best producing sow.  She has had 12 sons tested in central test stations that have averaged 2.45 ADG with 3 being top indexing over all breeds.  She has produced 3 Conference Champions and the 1988 NBS Hog College Boar.  She has averaged 10.2 born and 9.7 weaned for 6 parities. 
• RAMROD’s sire.  Axle Rod, is the result of a father-daughter mating.  He was the 1987 SWTC Champion Boar and a test station graduate with 2.43, 0.97 BF, 6.05 LEA.  Axle Rod also sired the Champion OPB Barrow at San Antonio.  Peterbuilt 20-3, RAMROD’s paternal and maternal grandsire, has been Premier or Reserve Premier Sire at 6 National Shows. 
• RAMROD is a long bodied, extremely lean appearing boar with excellent muscle expression.  He is bold and meaty about his shoulder, has excellent muscle shape on top and a thick bulging ham that carries well down the hock.  He is clean about his jowl, trim over his shoulder and free of excess waste to his middle. 
• With his very tightly linebred pedigree backed by several generations of superior test station performance combined with his individual excellence in performance and lean meaty design, we are confident RAMROD will sire "MEAT HOGS" that will excel in the feedlot and on the rail.
