THE DISCIPLE

A powerful, new crossbred addition bred by Brockman Farms! THE DISCIPLE has a very unique story as he is the product of Decker Showpigs purchase of Cruel Intentions sister bred to Believe In Me at The Exchange in 2020. THE DISCIPLE was sold by Decker Showpigs as a boar prospect to the Hofschulte crew at The Perfect Timing Pig Sale in the Fall of 2020. After breeding 25 sows to THE DISCIPLE in the Spring ‘21 breeding season, the Hofschulte crew decided to offer him in the 2021 Exchange sale. We were fortunate enough to be the winning bidder at $77,000, and THE DISCIPLE now calls Cambridge, IA home.

 

All three firms that have played a role in breeding, raising and promoting THE DISCIPLE are firms that are extremely talented livestock breeders. We are very excited to offer this young stud to the public. There’s lots to say about his line-bred pedigree and the track record of many of the hogs closely related to him that were dominant to start the 2021 show season.
