STOP ON RED is just what we were shooting for when we mated our stout Watch n Learn sow to 76.
Mother of STOP ON RED is a littermate to the Champion Duroc Gilt at the ‘17 National Barrow Show and grandmother of STOP ON RED is the mother of Bomb Squad.
The Watch n Learn mother of STOP ON RED is also the mother of Tate Lettow’s Supreme Champion Gilt at the 2020 Iowa State Fair FFA Show. We’d always dreamed of building a red hog that could beat the crosses, and the Jimmy T sired gilt shown in the FFA show did just that. Jimmy T is the sire of 76, so STOP ON RED’s mating and subsequent quality wasn’t a surprise to us!
STOP ON RED is rugged built, big chested, stout backed and has show barrow feature, presence and athleticism.
We think this is a big time red boar with an awesome pedigree!
