• FIRST  is an unusual Landrace boar in terms of his tremendous heaviness of bone, foot size and extra natural width and mass to his skeleton.  He is also an extremely long-bodied, level-topped and deep-sided boar, with 14 evenly spaced nipples. 
•  FIRST is a highly inbred KK6 Kara Starby 22-1 boar that is backed by several generations of stout-made, heavy skeleton, durable and fast growing Landrace in the Forkner herd.  Several test station pens sired by Jeff 15-6 and his half brothers have averaged over 2.10 pounds gain per day. 
•  FIRST sired a First Place Boar at the 1983 Landrace Summer Conference and the Reserve Champion Landrace Female at the 1983 Iowa State Fair.
