HENRY was the fastest gaining (3.03lb/day) and top indexing boar in the January 1987 South-eastern Swine Evaluation Station in Florence, Alabama. A littermate to his sire was top indexing boar at Florence and another full brother to his sire was top indexing boar at the Ohio Test Station. He is a big framed, long bodied boar that has very good width of body and substance of bone. Very rarely do you find a boar that gained over 3 lb per day in a test staiton, let alone one that has the extreme leanness, total muscle volume, and correctness of structural design that HENRY possesses. He is out of a litter of 15 farrowed, 14 weaned, and his dam has averaged 11.6 weaned in five litters. If you want to produce big, fat gaining, lean Yorkshires that will still excel in the farrowing hosue, we would suggest trying a shot of HENRY.
