WHY1 MOTION 4-3

• Upon visiting the W & H Farm and seeing MOTION‛s sire, we knew we needed to own a top son to share his confinement adaptability with our customers. 
• When MOTION‛s sire was turned out of a totally enclosed breeding barn, he moved out freely with tremendous flexibility, a long reaching stride and set down on a big foot. He was also a wide-made, extremely massive and very corrrectly structured boar. 
• MOTION has the same heaviness of skeleton, looseness of spine and levelness of top structure as his sire. 
• He is also a very free moving, loose-jointed boar with excellent feet and leg structure. 
• He is from an outstanding litter with a littermate named Reserve Champion Boar at the 1982 Yorkshire Summer Type Conference.  Two other boars and 2 gilts were in the top end of the Western production sale plus 2 gilts were retained as herd replacements.  The four boars averaged:  143 days to 230 lb.  0.77 BF and 5.32 sq in LEA. 
• MOTION‛s dam has averaged 10.25 farrowed and 9.75 weaned in her first four litters.  We are confident that MOTION will sire sound correctly structured, fast growing and lean offspring that will excel under confinement conditions.
