RED BERRY

•  RED BERRY was one of the two popular littermates exhibited at the Duroc Congress by Berry Farms.  He is a very heavy-structured boar that is stout-headed, has a bold shoulder with a big blade and forearm, stands on heavy bone and has a big foot with even toe size. 
• RED BERRY is also a lean, well muscled boar with excellent thickness of rump and ham.  He is a fast growing boar that weighed 415 lbs at 7 1/2 months(1.83 weight per day of age).  He had one of the largest loin eyes at the Duroc Congress and an actual backfat of only 1.40 in at 415 pounds. 
• RED BERRY is an extremely aggressive boar (ask those who tried to stay in the ring with him and his littermate at the Duroc Congress or his half brothers at the Iowa State Fair).  His pedigree combines two of the most popular and productive bloodlines in the Duroc breed.  KU Cub and Heavyweight. 
• His sire has been very consistent in siring sound, rugged and muscular offspring that not only have been popular at shows but have performed well in the test station and most importantly in commercial producers breeding pens.
