• Heku is an outcross to American Yorkshire lines.  He was produced from semen imported from Finland
• As we viewed the group of Yorkshire boars produced from the imported semen, Heku stood out because of his extra natural body width and stoutness of structure
• Heku is tall fronted, big framed, and extra long bodied.
• Heku has very good flat bone and is very sound structured both front and rear with big feet
• Heku sports an excellent 8-8 underline and has big testicles
• Heku's dam, has averaged 14.5 born alive 10.5 weaned and a 168 lb 21-day litter weight.  She has EPDs of 0.69 NBA, 6.49 LWT, 122 MLI and 129 SPI all top 7% of the breed
• The maternal grandam has averaged 13.9 born alive 11.2 weaned and 150 days 21-day litter weight for 7 parities.  She has EPDs 0.88 NBA (top 1%), 5.96 LWT, 117.4 MLI and 133.1 SPI (top 1%)
• Since Heku was produced with imported semen and his sire is not listed in the NSR STAGES Program; he has not accumulated valid EPDs at this time
• Heku sire's accumulated the following Indexes in Finland; 117 Fertility, 108 Meat, 101 Meat Quality and 106 Teats
• Heku combines an outcross Finish pedigree on the top side with excellent maternal pedigree on the bottom in a wide, tough made package
