His pedigree combines one of the great show sires, Superfly, on the top side with outstanding maternal and meat quality traits thru SGl 675 Peter Lad II on the bottom side.
Super Lad’s sire, Superfly, is a stout, square and massive made boar that has sired a ton of champions in barrow and breeding stock shows across the USA.
The maternal grandsire, SGI 675 Peter Lad II, was sired by Fast Lane the sire of the $50,000 Legend who was Champion at the 2010 WPX. The dam of Peter Lad II was sired by the English import Parracombe Peter Lad.
Peter Lad II stayed at SGI for four years because of the demand of our commercial customers. His offspring consistently performed well with excellent meat quality. His daughters were superior mothers with great longevity.
