•  Mandate was an impressive boar with outstanding performance of 115 days 230, 0.52 BF and a 6.65 LEA. 
•  However, the true test of a great breeding boar is the number of superior sons he leaves.  Probably more customers have retained sons of Mandate then any Duroc boar ever to stand at SGI. 
• We feel REAL TIME has the most reaching power of any son of Mandate to date.  One has to start with his tremendous muscle volume and leanness. He was scanned twice with the Real Time scan machine at the University of Illinois.  The resultant loin eye tracings were 9.75 and 9.73 sq in at 265 lb. 
• When you stand behind REAL TIME and view him over his big, meaty shoulders; along his long level top; out through his long, extra wide rump and down through his deep, very thick hams; you are truly impressed with his extreme muscle volume and total freedom of fat. 
• REAL TIME certainly has other attributes to offer in addition to muscle and leanness.  He is a stout headed, bold shouldered, big bladed and heavy boned boar.  He has good spring and depth of rib, extra length of body and is level designed with an excellent rump structure. 
• REAL TIME is an aggressive boar with large testicles and produces a large volume of sperm.  Not only is REAL TIME sired by a "True Breeding" boar but is out of an outstanding sow.  The University of Illinois breeding herd is maintained in total confinement on slats.  It is one of the most impressive sow herds we have viewed in terms of combining extreme muscle and leanness with soundness and outstanding sow productivity. 
• REAL TIME’s dam is one of their very best in terms of structure and design.  A powerful made sow of DK Ralph and Elmo breeding, she weaned an average of 8 her first two litters.  She is also a heavy milking sow with average individual pig weight of 17.6 lb at 21 days. 
• REAL TIME has certainly fulfilled our expectations with his offspring consistently excelling in STAGES on farm performance, central test stations, live barrow as well as carcass shows and national Duroc shows.  He was just recently named 1992 National Reserve Premier Sire and was Premier Sire at both the 1992 World Pork Expo and Summer Duroc Congress where he also sired the champion female.
