LT MR. RECORD 3-1

• MR. RECORD is what some call an "everyday" kind of hog.  Sound and basic in all respects, he is the kind that commercial producers like because he is problem free and will sire pigs that are easy to raise and sell. 
• MR. RECORD is probably the thickest shouldered boar with as much spring of rib as any boar ever housed at SGI.  He is backed by two former SGI sires, Red Berry and Genetic Advancer, that were also thick made and fast growing; thus, we are confident MR. RECORD will consistently transmit these traits.  The many satisfied customers we encountered with Red Berry dictated that we should try to add a son.  We were pleased to find a very sound and functional boar out of a superior sow. 
• MR.  RECORD's dam has a lifetime average on five litters of 10.4 farrowed live and 9.6 weaned.  Her offspring have consistently been the first to reach 230 lb and the 1st boars selected by commercial producers.  She is a littermate to a couple of high placing pigs at the Duroc Congress and has produced a top selling test station boar. 
• MR RECORD has the same extremely aggressive attitude as his sire.  We feel MR. RECORD is a real "sleeper".
