• Lariat is a youthful, immature, room to bloom boar with long-clean lines and an active, alert attitude.  He is a long faced, long necked boar that reaches out for a big step off his front end with excellent cushion and set to his shoulder structure. 
• He is a super long bodied boar that still has good rib shape and width to his chest floor.  The boar puts a lot of daylight between him and the ground and is uniform in his altitude from front to rear. 
• Lariat has an unique pedigree that contains two boars on the top side that have formed the nucleus for many of the successful show pig lines popular today.  Both Frontier 273-4 and his sire, Premier AA 5-15, produced by Tracy Lorenzen, have also been an important part of the genetic foundation of several of the trait leaders in the stages program.  They have also played a big roles in keeping frame size and production in Yorkshire sow lines. 
• The bottom side of Larait’s pedigree is all production; combining the famous Buckeye Queenie sow line from Jones & Moorman with Neher Acres sire, Linkage 112-1 (Lars x Ulf), that dominates the current Yorkshire Stages Report.  Linkage 112-1 (Lars x Ulf), that dominates the current Yorkshire Stages Report.  Linkage 112-1 presently ranks #1 on SPI and is almost seven points ahead of his closest competitors.  He is #7 on MLI, 1^st on NBA (1.16) and 3^rd on LWT (8.49).  These figures have 90% or above accuracy values.  Larait’s dam has EPDs of 0.9 NBA, 4.3 LW, 116 SPI and 109 MLI for 9 parities.
