• MR RIB was the talk of the barn at the Iowa State Fair because of his extreme natural body width and tremendous spring of rib. 
• He is wide chested, has a big, bold shoulder with a huge blade, outstanding shape to his rib with unbelievable width of center rib, and walks wide behind. 
• MR RIB is also a well muscled boar with excellent shape on top and a long, square, muscular rump.  He is a stout made boar that stands on excellent bone and big, even toed feet. 
• A unique feature of MR RIB is that he combines all this width of body, muscle dimension and heaviness of structure with good frame size and leanness, a good length of face, neck and body, as well as an extremely loose, level design.  
• MR RIB is from a litter of 10 farrowed, 10 weaned, with 170 lb 21-day litter weight.  His maternal granddam has a BVSPI of 106.6 and his paternal grandsire was the Champion Peoples Choice Boar from Hoewischer's at the 1986 Midwest Conference.  
• MR RIB was the Senior Champion at the Iowa State Fair. 
• At no other show that we attended, did nore breeders and commercial producers come to us and ask if we were going to try to bring a boar to SGI.  They felt he had tremendous potential to add extreme width, correctness of rib shape, and muscle yet keep good frame size, leanness, and correctness of design.
