• Golden Eagle was the $21,000 Champion Boar at the 1997 National Barrow Show. 
• He is one of the most interesting and most popular Hampshires to stand at SGI combining extra frame and extreme muscling into a well balanced, very structurally correct package. 
• Golden Eagle is an extended boar; being long in his cannon bones, tall at the top of the shoulder and has very good length of body.  Extremely clean fronted and remarkably trim about the jowl and shoulders, he carries this extreme cleanness through out his total body. 
•  What really catches your eye when you first see Golden Eagle is his explosive muscling.  He has an extremely big-grooved top, a huge muscular rump and expressive hams that ripple with muscle as he walks.
• A well balanced boar, he is very sound being particularly wide moving front and rear.  He has an excellent underline, big testicles and has been one of the best producing Hampshire Boars ever at SGI in terms of total semen production at a young age. 
• Golden Eagle is no accident.  His sire, Icon 44-6, sired the Champion Hampshire Barrow at the countless County and District Champions in the Southwest.  Golden Eagle’s dam produced the Reserve Champion (2^nd top selling) and the 3^rd top selling gilts at the 1996 Fall Classic.  Frame, leanness and extreme muscle are prevalent on both sides of Golden Eagle’s pedigree. 
• There is no question he can make winning show pigs; however, we feel Golden Eagle is a true breeding piece that can also make a very positive contribution to the Hampshire breed.  However, you better order early if you want to use this “Show Pig Sire Supreme” during the September through November or March through May periods.
