SPG1 MAVERICK 56-4

• Maverick is an extremely lean boar that is very trim in his jowl, bare of fat over his shoulder and down his top. 
•  He is a long fronted, long bodied boar that has very good muscle shape down his level top and out through his square rump. 
•  He is a sound boar with even toes and very good flex and mobility off his rear legs. 
•  Maverick 56-4’s sire, Maverick 1-9, is a long bodied, big framed, extremely meaty boar that is still going strong at eight years of age.  The 41 sons tested at Stephenson’s by Maverick 1-9 have averaged 153 days and 0.51 inch backfat.  The sire of Maverick 56-4’s dam, Raw Muscle, is also very extreme in muscle and leanness.  He had on the farm performance of 133 days, 0.32 BF and 9.02 LEA.  The 126 sons tested at Stephenson’s by Raw Muscle have averaged 159 days and a remarkable 0.47 inch backfat.  Maverick 56-4 is from a gilt litter of 9 born and 9 weaned with 126 lb 21-day litter weight. 
•  He is backed by several generations of big framed, very heavy muscled, extremely lean Hampshires.  Thus, we are confident of Maverick’s ability to consistently stamp his offspring in this same mold.
