• Harley D was the Reserve Champion and top selling boar at the 1992 Chester White Southeastern Spotlight. 
• He combines overall superior muscle composition and leanness with a heavy duty, super sound skeletal design. 
• Harley D is a stylish, well-balanced boar that is level and flexible down his top, has a high tail setting and an ideal shoulder – front leg set. 
• Raised in total confinement, he is a tough made, heavy boned, big footed, free wheeling boar that walks wide front and rear. 
• Harley D excels in an area that needs improvement in many Chesters being a clean fronted, extra trim boar that is particularly trim about his jowl, neck, shoulder and belly; yet, is stout headed, bold shouldered and wide-made from front to rear. 
• Harley D was also one of the leanest boars in the show and expresses true muscle shape down his top, out through his wide, level rump and down through the full, deep ham.  Four superior breeding boars that have been very influential in the Chester breed are represented in Harley D’s pedigree.  They are Foundation and Smoke on the top side and Jaymes and Admiral on the bottom side. 
• Harley D’s sire, Dr. Harley, is sired by a son of Foundation and out of a littermate to the current Harley and Darwin Allen headboard, Sidekick (Pup x Smoke).  Sidekick won his class at Illinois in 1989 and sired the 1^st and 2^nd place barrows and Reserve Champion at Illinois in 1991.  Foundation has done a tremendous job of siring superior breeding boars as well as top producing females in both the Peele and Allen herds.  He is still going strong at 8 ½ years of age. 
• Harley D’s dam and her littermate have both been outstanding producers at Peeles. They have averaged 11.5 and 9.0 (includes 1 litter of 2) born live, 10.2 and 9.4 weaned and 127 and 122 lb 21-day litter weights, respectively for 4 and 5 parities. 
• The Harley Davidson is considered the “Cadillac” of motorcycles and is noted for durability, style and performance.  We feel Harley D is a top of the line model for the 90s that also excels in durability, style and performance.
