Captain, the Champion Chester Boar at the 1984 Iowa State Fair, was from an outstanding litter that included the $3,900 top selling boar in Schminke’s production sale.
He is a heavy-boned, long-bodied, level-topped boar that excels in front end structure. He is a long-necked boar with excellent set to his shoulder and superior cushion to his front leg and pasterns.
He has good foot size with even wide spread toes.
Captain is a very lean boar with excellent muscle expression over his top and displays a thick meaty ham.
Captain is from a litter of 8 farrowed, 8 weaned and backed by several generations of heavy milking sows.
Captain should sire pigs with extra leanness and muscle volume along with the noted superior front end structure and milking ability of the Chester White Breed
