INSTIGATE is a boar that we found this Spring on a trip to Ohio. Nate Warner let us know that he was planning to market him at The Exchange Swine Event, so we kept our focus and purchased him at that event.
PROVOKED, INSTIGATE’s sire, has been on an absolute tear, siring Champions all over the Midwest in his first crop. The PROVOKED sired pigs have the extras, but maintain their elite build and balance to heavier weights.
INSTIGATE himself comes to us with an absolutely incredible pedigree. Provoked x Kiss the Ring’s sister x Dirty South’s mother. If that’s not blending the best of the best, we’re not sure what is?!
INSTIGATE looks like an elite show barrow! He’s got daddy’s natural width and proportions, with a notch more look from his blade forward. He’s strong footed and has great squareness and athleticisim.
**PROVOKED has continue to elevate his game having recently sired the Grand Overall Crossbred Gilt at the ’20 NJSA National Junior Show. INSTIGATE will bring PROVOKED proportions and extra muscle shape to the equation!**
**Update - INSTIGATE sired the 3rd Overall Barrow at the ’21 Oklahoma Youth Expo. We continue to tell anyone that will listen, that he is perhaps the most under-utilized crossbred sire at SGI. His pigs are consistently moderate in their build, boxy and muscular.
