SLIM JIM was purchased by Heimer Hampshire's in Springfield in 2017. Upon return home, the HH crew quickly learned that SLIM JIM was a very spirited breeding boar, and they were only able to expose a couple of females to him for Spring '18 litters. With continued effort, they were able to get him more comfortable with the collection process and have covered a good portion of their Berkshire herd with him for Summer litters.
We are very excited to be able to offer this incredible Berkshire breeding piece to our customers!!! SLIM JIM has unique look and power combined with great angle to his blade and knee. His length of hip and athleticisim behind help control all of the extra power that he's capable of bringing to the table!!!
